Relax, Victor. No one said it CAN'T be done, just that it shouldn't be done WHEN HUNTING. Big distinction, there. I know for a fact I can consistently hit a 6" target with my .177 Diana 34 at 80 yards, but targets don't bleed. I could do better with practice and a solid rest, but I still wouldn't try taking game at that range, the pellet just doesn't have enough power left to be humane. At 80 yards, that rifle/pellet combo is down to less than 4 fpe. Holdover and windage get super critical, as does range estimation. All that said, a lot of these rifles are capable of good accuracy at much longer ranges than most of us ever shoot them at. But then, if we all had 200 or 300 yards available in our back yards, we'd probably never have started playing with these "bb guns" in the first place :-)! Later.Dave
