Hi, just received a used .22 Conquest auto/semiauto and am wondering what is the best way to stuff the battery pack into the stock without damaging the wires and connectors? Battery packs that don't fit quite so tight? Regards, Tom

Hey tom! I use to own the conquest in .25 and only thing you can do is slowly feed the power lines back down through the stock .it will always be a very tight fit but the gun should function fine.other thing you could do is shorten the lines a bit but I wouldn't bother with that.

Actually I fixed it today, using a 3/4" ship auger drill 1" further up the small wire passage hole then on the other side (inside the battery pack space) drill 1/2" further. Then sand the length of the wire passage with a 3/8" dowel with 100 grit sandpaper. Easy to shove in now. When I had the stock off I found some wire whiskers from the solenoid terminal touching the aluminum frame. I shoved some tape between the wire and the frame as my liquid tape was hard as a rock. Have to get some more before I take it apart again. Regards, Tom

Another trick is to create a felxible pull tab using electrical tape. Attach tape at the end of one side, leave two inches slack overhanging, then fold the tape back so it attaches to the opposite side of the battery pack. This creates a tab allowing for easy grasping when removing the battery.
