HW97KT Custom Bluing (

HW97KT with the polished bluing all assembled with a Vortek PG2 in it. Break in, accuracy testing, chrony data soon to follow...

A keen eye will notice the major difference in blue tone and shine  My girlfriend says it still looks the same. I know it doesn't! The custom bluing is certainly a step up from oem HW finish.

Took one test shot and it right away reminded me why this is my favourite springer!  Such a nice 'thunk'. So quiet too. Better, sharper shot cycle/noise than my TX.

I'll get better pictures  as it is night time and my camera isn't doing it's best. Just couldn't wait to get a few up there.

The factory bluing on my 98 is the reason my 97 has the SS look! The HW bluing compared to the TX bluing isn't in the same neighborhood!
It looks DEEEEP now!! And like black chrome!
I remember when you sent her out.
Get some sweet glass on that beauty!!

I forgot to say a keen eye and 97 owners 
It's still not as black chrome as the TX is, but I'm happy with it and glad I sent it out 
I'll definitely try to get some sweet glass, an MTC Viper?

Have you been breeding AA and HW rifles??    It looks like your HW97KT is now part Air Arms.  The polishing of the bluing looks great.  Nice upgrade to an already great rifle.

Laz, seriously, I can see a HUGE difference! My daughter has a gorgeous HW30M (very rare R7 variant) that has been blued by someone with demigod skills. I mean the bluing is GORGEOUS! Yours looks the same, buddy!

More pics, before it started to rain. It's pretty windy, so you will see stuff on the gun that blew on there.  But the finish is flawless. And I got a bit sloppy with the oil/wipe... Enjoy the pics though!
