Brazos, thanks for the recommendation on the pellets. I think I have some of those laying around from when I was trying to find a pellet the TX200 liked.

You may find that more than one pellet will do the job nicely.

They just don't know any better If you haven't placed the order for the 30 yet, it wouldn't hurt to reconsider a slightly larger caliber like the .20/5.0 mm. One thing I've learned over my Airgun journey is this. Better quality guns aren't near as pellet picky as lower end airguns. Then again I may just be lucky with my rifles. Congradulations on making your decision to go with the HW.

It has been ordered already in .177 caliber. I have like ten or more tins of pellets laying around that I want to shoot up. I had my hopes up that it would ship today but it says its back ordered. I hate the waiting game because I get impatient, although I think the wait will be worth it. I am kind of wondering if AOA has one in stock.

You made a wise choice.  Mine will shoot very good groups with most any pellet.  I just happened to buy some JSB RS 7.33 grain pellets just to have in my stash in pellets to try.  I have to say my 30 loved them.  My first 10 shots at 20 yards was an 1/4" outside to outside group, one small ragged hole.  It was very easy to obtain and keeps shooting those pellets like that.  I almost wonder if my 30 with that pellet is not the most accurate rifle I own.  I ended up using the rifle and pellet combo to shoot a small FT match a few days later and cleaned up.  It was amazing.

I concur,  that the JSB's do very well. The 7.33 and 8.44 do very well with mine also. The CPHP's I'm using for break in actually ain't doing too shabby either, so this puppy is not too pellet finicky, as noted.

Still waiting on the rifle but I am starting to think about scopes to put on it if I decide to go that route. I like decent glass so I am thinking a weaver rv7 or rv9. Do any of have any other suggestions, I would like to stay under $250 for the scope if at all possible.

if you don't need mil dots, Nikon 3-9x40 EFR rimfire scope is brilliant and is under $200. Lightweight too.

My little HW30 made a new friend today (CZ Slavia 634). I have to say that I am really digging this rifle. I like the sights and the stock seems to fit me a little better than the 30.
