Hi Everyone!  I've been a firearms aficionado for years, & still have my old benjamin franklin pump up .177 air rifle, & a crosman 1377 pump up pistol.. but these have primarily been used for plinking with the kids, or stinging a varmint snooping around.  I've been intrigued by the more powerful air rifles, & decided i'd 'upgrade' to a 22 with either a break barrel or underlever.  I'm leaning toward the xisico line that mike carries, since his reputation precedes him for good quality and value.  I can see this forum has a solid base of committed hobbyists, & i'm very impressed with the collective wisdom & knowledge here.  I have already learned a lot from lurking, & will probably get most of the info that way.

If i get into it more, which seems likely, i'll 'upgrade' more, i am sure.  But for now, i'm thinking of picking up a xs46u or xs25, tweaking it as recommended, & learning to shoot it.  But i can see a pcp & all the baggage that goes with that in the future, too.
