A friend asked me to see if I could get this BB gun operational again. he had it as a kid and it has been stored in the garage for about 50 years. Totally frozen up with rust. I am about to take the action from the stock and soak it in PB Blaster to see if I can free the barrel up. Any advice would be appreciated.
I have a V-350, are these the same thing?
I was looking at some other post about the V-350 and the thread about the worst air gun you have owned really got me. One of the comments went something like "Is it possible to have the best and worst in the same gun." I know exactly where the guy was coming from. My V-350 sprays bb's all over the place but it's hard to put down because it's so fun to shoot.Bryan

The rear sight also broke off somewhere along the road, but it's fun to pick up and mess around with because of it's cool feel and slide action mechanism.
We were getting ready to order the resealing kit when we noticed another problem. When you load the BBs into the magazine through the hole in the top, the BBs will roll out the barrel when you tilt the gun down. Before tearing things apart, I'd sort of like to know what I am looking for here? Any suggestions?
Isn't this the same gun that the Crosman M1 carbine was built on? Mine is still going strong after many years.
