I love the look. But any idea how much $ this thing will cost? I don't see it being too cheap. Wondering how long production will be of each rifle. With electronics, need to be precise, so maybe a wait list. We shall see. I will see what reviews say before I start saving for it.

Not only do you need expensive (and for a lot of people) hard to find air sources, but you have to mess with batteries and fussy electronics. Not me. JMO.

 Wow i'm so disappointed..  I was hoping for everything they just came out with, but not with rocket launcher proportions. I would no more consider carrying that elephant gun around when so many other bigbores(like all of them?) are not only shorter and lighter but are also less expensive.. I do have high hopes for crosman to keep on with development of these new ideas but hope that they will come out with some guns with more normal proportions. J

Seems kinda long for a good get through the brush shooter and more of a get in the hide and snipe em shooter. One thing that I've noticed about electronics in cold weather is that the low temps can not so good the power right out of them. I'd be interested in seeing how this shooter performs under different weather conditions . Ed

It does look sweet for what it is, but won't make it to my "A" list. If I was out for something that required that much power, I would want something that had more rounds available. A misplaced first round can leave you with very pis(angry) quarry. I've been treed by a boar with an arrow in it and it isn't something you would call fun!

Ed, for what it's worth, as long as the power source is a decent lithium-ion battery, you won't have any worries about losing power, even if you take it to the Antarctic!
I'm impressed that he is launching jacketed .357 slugs, though.
That's a bit different from most of the conventional big bore airguns that (as far as I know) shoot only pure lead.

Ok, what else ya got?  If I need to throw that much lead, I'm not going to mess around with air and batteries.  No offense to the big bore guys, but If my Trail NP won't do it, I'm opening the darn safe....

Jim sums is up pretty good there. The only thing a kinda have doubt on is that "this"(AG in particular) will be a big seller. On the other side, I do see the tech on this AG selling like hot cakes when pair with something (more backyard sized/ less menacing). Yes SOME of these features are already available on some AG. And if you're like me, you rather have 2-3 AG for the price of that one with the fancy gizmo on it. So what better way to test/beta this (hopefully) affordable piece of tech then of the biggest baddest thing you have or made. Cause if everything can stay together and functional on a AG chucking .357 slugs it should be no problem when stuck on a .177/.22/ect. I'm basing this on the way F1 tech usually finds this way on production cars, hopefully Crosman follows suit.

I've got nothing on the legality issue tho. Let's hope our chosen voices have a couple of AG tucked away in their closets.

Maybe not for everyone, but they didn't say it would be. I am definitely intrigued.  I don't know why this has caused so much controversy... to me, it's just another cool choice and another interesting experiment in what airguns can be.

After reading the reviews and watching the youtube video clips, I'd say I'm full of mixed emotions. First off, I am NOT a big bore airgunner. If I want to hunt medium to large game, I'll pull out one of my suitable pb's. For airgunning, I'm a backyard plinker/paper puncher/small game popper. My springer/pumpers in .177/.22/.25 will work just fine and no need for such a beast as the Rogue.
With that said, I'll throw in some comments in the opposite direction. I'm a 35 year electronics technician. I'm very impressed with the step forward in the combination of airgun and electronics in this gun. It's definitely leading edge technology in my book and I commend Crosman in this step. After reading the reviews, it seems they have stepped up the design in shrouds also, if this gun is reported as having just slightly higher noise level of an MRod. Just looking at the size and caliber of this gun, I would expect a very heavy and LOUD report when fired. It is reported to be only 9.5lbs and quiter than many fully shrouded small calibers. VERY impressive work Crosman. I do think the market for this big bore is smaller than us backyard folks but hey, it may just open up a whole NEW batch of enthusiasts and converts from pb's.
I'm worried what effect this gun will have on airgun regulations and hunting. I've read and heard in the videos that this gun SHOULD open up options in game hunting but I'm concerned it will be taken in the opposite direction by law enforcement. The fact that it is a big bore and is QUIETER than small calibers, it MAY cause new regulations to be generated and new laws governing all airguns. Just my fears.
As stated, I am not a big bore enthusiast. But, I see the technology as a giant leap forward for airguns. I would expect and anticipate seeing the electronics and shrouding to filter down to my type of airguns and THAT I readily welcome. I've been on the Dark Side fence just biding my time to get a .22 MRod. I'll now wait and see if my prediction holds up and then get myself a new model electronic trigger/regulated MRod.
Way to go Crosman!!!!

I argee with ezman ITS just a matter of time before they start slapping new laws on us airgunners,me i dont have any big bores in the stable but may have in the future just on curiousity currently working on a 4 pcp project (talks tho)but out in california i cant hunt big game with a air rifle only pest(yotes) so a .45 /.50./58 cal is a waste of my money .But i have a strange feeling more focus will be paid attention to airgunning especially in C.A when this rouge hit the market and new laws will come out .Out here we have a law stating in feb 1 2011 we cant purchase ammo via internet or catalog for hand guns i didnt know about this till i got my cabelas mag and read that.So just be prepared for some Big B.S.
