Hello as the title says. I'm looking for a hunting rifle. My price Range is to 300.00. I have read a lot of post from multiple sites. I just don't know what would be the best bang for my buck. I want either a .22 or .25 caliber. I have had a few rifles but none of them I kept. I would put a tin threw one and I would see or read somewhere that this rifle is better and buy that one. Well I want to buy and keep one, but like I said I would like your opinions on what is good hunting rifle. I will also target shoot with it but it's gonna be my hunting rifle foremost.

Just my 2 cents
As long as the rifle is accurate,,,it will hunt well and punch tight groups on targets. There's a few GOOD spring powered rifles that can be purchased with just a few bucks more than $300, as "factory refurbished". Look at the Diana 48 as a prime example.
I have taken over 70 squirrels, 4 possum and 2 coons with a .177....They Hunt.....My Big Cat and Storm are for Sale....
