I found a guy who had a 24 he had gotten from his uncle's when he passed away. He said he thought the rifle was broke and was missing the front sight, but would take $50 for it. I went to look a it, turns out he didn't know how to cock it. I took pellets with me, so I showed him how to work the rifle. I asked if he still wanted to sell it since now he knew it wasn't broke, and he said yes because he didn't know anything about them. The rifle looked brand new. I tore it down and lubed it. The inside looked great. Mounted a scope on it and took it to the back yard. This is a great shooting little rifle. Its not very powerful, but will hit the same hole in a group of 5 at 20yds. I also have a 48. I am hooked on these Diana rifles. I would like to find a front sight if anyone knows where I could get one. The 24 also has an adj. trigger, but it feels good just as it is.

Is this the rifle you are referring to?

If it is you can order the front sight unit used in the old time Diana models like 25 & 27 (it is the same part).

Hey Flyer, I postedon Craigslist that I was looking for a rws/Diana pellet rifle. The post got flagged and removed but not before a guy emailed me saying he had this gun.
