We shoot paint balls at 25 yards, I will bring some this weekend...

If I make it there (99% sure that I will), I am going to make some Kevlar reinforced pvc stands along with some targets to place on them, as well as some other targets for all to enjoy. ;D

Also, I have some eggs that went bad that I would like to set up at 100-yards.

Thanks,

Lil Al.

Lol, sorry, they're not rotten, just a few days out of date. I want to see them explode at 100-yards...if I can hit them, or anyone else for that matter.

Thanks,

Hang a paper target at 100 yards and send a few JSB 18.1gr at it from the QB HPA to get your trajectory.  If the wind is cooperative, prepare to smile.  ;D

Nice to see you here on this thread Jason. You know more than I do that once that QB HPA is dialed in, its like a laser beam...thanks to the incredible job you did making it the incredible airgun it is today.

Respectfully,

Al.

Sounds like y'all are gearing up for a great weekend. Wish I could join ya's. I'll be hoping for good weather for the event. As it stands right now, I may not be done here until the beginning of November, and probably won't get a chance to shoot with you all again until next spring.
Happy shooting!

And early happy birthday, Al!  ;D

I ordered a sample tin of H&N .177 Hunter Extreme hollow points (tips look like head of a screw) in 9.57-grain and a sample tin of .22 JSB 15.89-grain domes from Trenier Outdoors to try out in the .177 QB-57 and .22 Flying Dragon-PCP.

http://www.trenieroutdoors.com/pellets6.html

First time trying H&N pellets and eager to see how well they fare in the QB-57.

My FD-PCP already shoots 18.1-grain JSB pellets very accurately and well beyond 900-fps, but I want to turn the power dial down a little bit and increase shot count...without sacrificing too much fps. So, hopefully these 15.89-grain JSB pellets will do the trick.

If there's enough room, would be nice to see how Titan GP, tuned by Big Al does with the 15.89-grain JSB pellets as well.

(Looks at Tomcat kinda funny like).....a certain BT-65 with about 6 dots of holdover and JSB 25.4s was hitting pieces of broken shotgun birdies at 100 yards that weren't mich bigger than chickem eggs, the only time I got shoot it before I sold it....

I remember shooting that BT-65 .25 caliber for the first time...vividly! That airgun is a beast...and then some!

I will be bringing the H&N henter extremes with me tomorrow for both .25 and .22 cal. I also have the JSB 15.4 's in .22 cal. But the real test is shooting the 21 grain .177 cal pyledrivers.

Geez, 21-gr .177 caliber pellets?!?!? That's a lot of weight for a .177. Are those the ones out of EU that are barrel shaped?

Thanks!

Yes  they are. And the will surprise the *(&^ out you.  In tested them out of my disco running CO2 before the power adjuster and it shot 15.8 FPE at the muzzle and 15.3 15 yards away. so it lost .5 FPE over 15 yrds.

Yes  they are. And the will surprise the *(&^ out you.

I know that Tim has some pretty powerful Hatsan .177 airguns, that I am pretty sure could do such a pellet some justice. Would be interesting to see what his Torpedo under lever would do with those. Look forward to seeing/hoding some of those.

Thanks! :D
