.25 Synrod POI Random shift

I am stumped!!!! My .25 Synrod has started to randomly shift its POI. At first I blamed the scope, so naturally I mounted another, still happened, I did this a total of 4 times so it is not my scope. What is happening is I will zero then it is good for about 5-6 rounds, then it shifts the POI several inches in a random direction and then it will stack 5-6 pellets there and so on and so on.
My shroud is tight and centered. My barrel is clean as I just cleaned it when this started happening. My scopes have been tight and all have been good.
This ONLY happens with the shroud on. When I shoot with the shroud off I have no issues but who wants a loud Marauder?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Un-float shroud within front support bracket.
Personally have used a strip of Hobby foam bridging the gap present with MUCH success.
There are MANY threads and talks about doing this here on the GTA and Marauder forums.

have thought about a center bushing half way up shroud like BSA uses must be a reason they do it but would need to be vent thru as well

Try not tightening your shroud tight against the receiver. Snug it up to the receiver then loosen it about half a turn. Works very well for me like that.

Remove the barrel from receiver, pluck out the breech o-ring.
Deburr the transfer hole within lead area and if you have a dremel & a cratex point you can size down, polish the throat & lead.
Make sure crown in clean & uniform.
generally the GM barrels don't require this ... but then again

I removed all the baffles from the shroud and that seems to be working for now, but will keep that in mind for sure!

my .22 got a lot better when i put a set screw barrel band on it.
it is also now sturdy enough to lean on things, be picked up by grabbing the barrel/tube area and doens't seem to shift at all anymore.
