Gun oil?

I have noticed that the bluing on my UK Webley Raider is starting to fade.  It was made around the year 2,000 and has had multiple owners so I am really not surprised.  Is there any oil I can apply to nurture the metal and protect it from further deterioration?  I have been just wiping it down with some general Hoppe's No. 9 lubricating oil that I have lying around.

Of course, who else? But honestly it while not a wonder product it is the best gun oil I have used and came highly recommended by several "old school" air gunners. For myself it did do wonders for my 33 year old Beeman and even shined up and protects my kids Bronco very well also. Only gun oil that touches the metal finish on my British gal.

I'm alive still surprisingly Joe, thanks for asking. Had to miss the big field target even in Nashville this year but still hope to connect with any shooters closer to me to perhaps start a club in this part of Appalachia. Still shoot even late at night under the street lights and in the rain for practice. Still need to work on the shooting positions but getting the hang of wind doping now at least.
