Have new disco I have shot about 500 rounds. Would it make sense to take it apart to clean, polish and check o rings or should i leave well enough alone? It has no leaks. I just wondered if I could get anymore out of it by just doing maintenance

Any thoughts out there how long/ how many shots before you should go through one of these and replace
the o-rings and lube it all up?

Unless you are unhappy with its performance, leave well enough alone. Add a power adjuster, swap out a hammer spring to change power/shot count, or add a bigger transfer port, if wanting to explore. I've had mine for 2 years, and never opened it up.
Clean the barrel when needed, but unless you want to do valve work, or develops a leak, leave it.

I started to take mine apart yesterday. I removed the safety button and found out that it won't cock unless you hold it upside down. I forget if the trigger pull was any less. I thought my barrel might not be centered over the transfer port, but I was wrong so I didn't remove the stock. Took me and hour to get the safety back in.

The sear spring is held in place by the safety button, removing the button reduces the tension on it to the point the gun MAY not cock.... To get it back into place, you put a knife point, paper clip, etc. in the slot in the trigger guard just in front of the hole for the safety, pull the end of the sear spring forward, and slide the safety button back in.... Takes less time to do than to describe (once you know the trick)....

Bo, that is how I put my safety back in place. Phew, even a blind squirrel sometimes finds the acorn.
