Actually, the 2 I referred to were offered buy another member here in the classified gate. They were the Gen I tinkerer's gun The $160 Gen II is an out of the box ready gun offered by Mike who is, in fact, out of the shop until after the weekend. Last time I talked to him, he had for a few more of the Gen I FD-PCPs and is working on a deal to get another batch from his Chinese connection.

My suggestion to you would be to wait a few days, call Mike and discuss your needs. I am positive you will be glad you did. His quality and reputation are above and beyond most. JMO

I caught what you were saying about the two rifles in the classifieds for $160.  I had actually been considering one of his first gen pump/rifle combos when he started selling them and thought this classified deal may be too good to pass up.

LOL.... evidently someone else thought the same... just a little faster. Sorry you missed it. Keep your eyes open for another one. Even if it's not what you had in mind, one of these would be awesome to share with the boys... WARNING !!! as was already mentioned... the FD-PCP has had the safety removed because it was not reliable and offered an accident in waiting.... You will definitely want to closely watch the boys with one. Not at all suggesting that you wouldn't, just adding to the warning.

I'm so torn up with all this airgun business right now. 

What you mention about the first gen FDPCP safety is part of what held me back originally.  I actually contacted Mike and found that the second gen trigger group can be installed in the first gen for a working safety.  I also contacted another member here (Stalwert) about a repeating mod for the FDPCP. 

I think I've gone airgun crazy.

I enjoy my Disco. maybe it wasnt the best first PCP but i have enjoyed it.


On the matter of Safetys , it seems an absolute requirement for me. I know some remove them, but that just asking for an accident.
