Beeman HW97 Centennial Internal Parts Questions

Piggybacked his on another post, but didn't get any replies.


What size piston and chamber should a HW97 centennial have?  25mm or 26mm?  It was made in 1999.

             Check the stamped Serial Number of your Weihrauch rifle - if it is higher than the number 1446049 then you have the later version (26 mm inner diameter of the cylinder).

     As it is known Weihrauch changed to a bigger piston seal in rifles with serial no.1446049 and over.

Hw schematics states 1375964 and up for 26mm --- just open it up and take a look around

Not trying to be controversial...just stating what HW says....Frankly i would just open the thing up and measure. After all , If the OP is wanting to install a kit or new seal it will have to be opened up anyhow.........Just pop the thing open and let us know! lol..

My serial number is R0051 because it is a centennial, so I can't use weihrauch's guidelines about serial number for seal size.
I did open it up and it has a 26mm seal, but since this is a collectors item, and it has been worked on, I am trying to figure out what it originally came with from the factory.

           I couldn't agree more!  As it seems the best way to find out is to open the rifle and check the dimensions of the internals.  I did not want to sound absolute and categorical on defence of my opinion, I just posted the information I knew.
