Okay this is my first major rebuild upgrade project. So ill need alot of help from you guys my first of many questions to come so bear with me here. I want to upgrade the front plastic sight slash barrel band plug pump arm thing. Can i get a piece just for the pump tube like a plug for jst the tube and arm not for the barrel and buy a barrel band to secure the barrel? Im sorry if this is confusing . I tried throwing a picture on but i cant get it resized  so sorry no pics yet

Okay whats this .22 shell spring guide mod is that for the trigger spring or where pictures are helpful ima picture learner

You use a spent .22 rimfire cartridge.  Pollish the cartridge up nice, then insert it in the trigger spring at the top end so that the sear rides on the flat surface of the top of the .22 cartridge.

It keeps the spring streight while compressing, thus making the trigger pull slightly smoother. First though carefully pollish the contact surfaces of the trigger to sear, and the sear to hammer (carefuly), as well as the face of the sear that will contact your new spring guide.

I took a drimel and made a simple guide, then very carefully bored the corner out.   though I did this after I bored the exaust port out so it was easier.

First you dissassemble the valve, remove the check seal, spring and stem, then secure it in a vice, then take a drimel with a side cut metel working bit, and carfuly trim the corner, being very careful NOT to cut the sealing surface.   That is all there is to it.  Be very careful though, the first time I did it I used a back up valve I ordered from Crosman, just in case I messed up (it came out perfect, though there is definitely room for error).

A note on dissassembling the valve:
You can do it by hand with out any tools, just wrap each half in a strip of leather and twist.  The leather will give you the grip needed to turn it, and there will be zero worry about tooling marks .

okay thanks again lol ill have to pick up tht bit for the dremel. i just used pliers and wrap a rag around the valve so it didnt bite
