Air Ranger 80

I got to shoot an Air Ranger 80 that I purchased for my Dad yesterday. All I can say is "WOW"! This airgun is a tack driving, sledge hammer. Combined with the Hawke Sidewinder 6x24, & bottle band mounted Harris bipod, this is going to make one heckuva groundhog gun for Fathers Day.

No Huggett, a 7" LDC quiets it down quite a bit, but no where near what a Huggett does though. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

WOW that's one lucky dad, an your a great son for getting him one. Is it the .22 or .25 version ?

I shot the .25 version with bare barrel and lets just say you may want to consider wearing ear protection.

.25 version & yes, it is loud without the LDC. It's about as loud as a .22LR without the LDC
