Crosman 2200A

Had an older gentleman call me the other day, he had borrowed an air rifle from a friend to eliminate some tree rats in his yard.  It is an older 'well used' gun, he shot and killed one rat with it and then the gun would not cock, he actually loaded two pellets trying to get it to shoot.  He asked if I could fix it for him, told him I had never taken one apart but would take a look and let him know.  Well it looks like the plastic piece that the bolt is connected to that also cocks the gun broke, PN: 2200B015.  Called him back and told him I could order the part from Crosman and get it back together for him....

Anyone know of anything else I need to order to get this thing right again?

   If Crosman does not have the bolt,  JG Airguns did the last time I checked.  (their store site is currently down)    Throw a pump cup and breech seal in while it's open. (if you have pulled the pump)   They are the same as any other Crosman.   Putting it together again will be easier if the pump and barrel are pre-assembled and held with the bbl band.   An object that holds the bbl/pump assy level also helps.  I use a pencil under the tube

I didn't pull the pump or the barrel band, just opened up the receiver area and after picking up the springs I realized the bolt was broken and not allowing it to cock.  The piston seems to be building good pressure since after I removed both pellets I was able to cock the action and discharge the air and it was pretty substantial...

I think the probe and breach seal are part of the whole cocking mechanism that I will be ordering..

   The seal I mentioned is the 130-036 between the barrel support and the valve.  The only "seal" on the bbl/bolt interface is the lump on the bolt.      It's the reason the bolt has the dust cover.    Careful use of a lathe on the end of the bbl will allow the installation of a 5.5x1mm O-ring.    (I'm in the process of doing that to my 2200.)    Let me know if Crosman does have the bolts, I'd like to order some spares.

has there been any success getting the bolt?

    the 2100 bolt can be modded to fit the 2200.  that's what i did when i converted my 2100 to .22 cal.  i used the 2100 bolt # 2100b018 & epoxied a 7/32" od brass tubing over the end.  i still have the magnet in the tip.  i pulled it out a bit since it's a little short to fully seat cphp.  it can be removed & a longer tip installed to fully seat the pellets you are using.
