Who has the Raptor/Omega compressor or the economy model

Found out there is an economy version without some of the bells and whistles. Does anybody have one or an opinion about it?
How well are the raptors holding up? Any comments?

Well, not many comments here or other air gun forums so I decided to be a guinea pig and buy one. The Raptor price was too much for me and the economy version was about the same price as the Freedom 8 - but I would have also had to buy a 1st stage oilless compressor, hose and fittings which would have made the shoebox almost the cost of the raptor. I figured that if I got the Shoebox max, a 1st stage oilless compressor and hoses, fittings, etc. it would be about the price of the economy version but a lot less portable.
So I got the economy version of the raptor. It is working great. Very portable as it doesn't need a 1st stage compressor. Open (no sheet metal surround) which will make it easy to work on when that becomes necessary, and probably helps prevent heat buildup.
I did add an hour meter so I can track use. I made the right decision.
Here are photos since they are hard to find.

The Tupperware container I suppose is the water vapor collector? You just dump it when it collects enough? If so, wonder how it would do to fill it with desiccant?

No it is the water reservoir. It was just empty in this photo.
Nice and easy to clean when necessary.

Sorry, I don't have a confirmed / verified output but the specs say 3 cu ft per minute.
What is the output for a freedom max or freedom 8?

The Freedom 8 is 8 CF / hr., the original was half that.... It took 20 hrs. to fill an 80CF SCUBA tank from empty....

That pump looks like the one sold by mrodair.com. Does it come with a pressure cut off switch? How often is maintenance required? Do you get greases and re-build parts with the pump?

Yes, mrodair is one of the current suppliers. I met Mike at the Malvern air gun show back in April but I bought mine before he had any (and possibly before he knew about them).
The compressor has a second hand on the gauge that you move to the cutoff point (anywhere on the dial). It is electrically connected to the electronics board and when that "set point" is reached, the compressor automatically cuts off. The water pump continues to run until you unplug the unit. BTW, the water pump start when you plug the unit in. The on/off buttons only work for the compressor. The gauge is similar to the attached photo but it isn't oil filled. It really doesn't need to be. An oil filled gauge is to help "buffer" the needle movement so a gauge can be read easier. An oil filled gauge isn't needed in this application.
It comes with a rebuild kit and a syringe of spare grease (at least mine did). Per the compressor page on the mrodair site, he includes a rebuild kit too. I'd check with them and ask about the grease.
The manual says to add a little grease when the unit begins to get noisy. There isn't any recommended tear-down, clean timeframe mentioned. If not used for an extended period of time, I would empty the water out of the reservoir and let the water drain from the compressor to prevent algae growth. Nothing in the manual mentions any anti-algae or anti-microbial additive to use. I didn't want to add anything other than water. And I'm using tap water. With the reservoir being clear, you can see the quality of the water in the unit and change as needed. I've had mine awhile now (> month) and I will be changing the water this weekend.

Might be better to use distilled water, can be bought in most stores for about a buck a gallon. Regards, Tom

Distilled or deionized water is corrosive to some metals when used alone.
I didn't want to add any sort of coolant additive or antifreeze to the HPA pump so I just use tap water.
