And he brought me an XS46U with a Full Tune from Mike Melick!! I have been waiting 8 days for this rifle and am really excited! I immediately pulled it out of the box and my first impression was the stock. It has a lot of Chinese Varnish on it, but I actually like the muddy color...I tried to do some shooting with the open sights but I am not a fiber optic guy or an open sight guy for that matter. The trigger is single stage, very smooth, light (~3lbs) and predictable. With the open sights I shot a 1/4" group at 10 yards with the H&N FTT 8.65 grains. That is this rifle's favorite pellet with the RWS superdomes at a close second coming in at about 3/8" at 10 yards. I have no doubt these groups will tighten as I refine my hold/technique and upgrade the scope I have on there now.

After taking about 40 shots with the open sights, I mounted an Optima 3-9x32 scope that came with my Hatsan 125. This scope isn't the greatest but right now I am just trying to get a feel for the gun and the scope will be upgraded to an AirForce 4-16x50AO this coming Saturday.

The cocking is very smooth and the shot cycle is even smoother.

I had over $600 saved up in quarters, dimes, nickles, & pennies. So I bought my wife a nice camera & a good meal.

I sold some guns, paid my credit cards, and bought more guns. I think I upgraded a bit.
