Look at the iPad, people flocked to get the first ones, and the second generation was just around the corner. Apple knows there are people who will buy anything with the Apple logo on it. I hear ya about the iPad but I feel like it wouldnt be in their best interest to come out with a new phone until the current version has been out at least a year. I mean what could they possibly do to make a new version that much better in 6 months?  just doesn't make sense to me

who knows what they can do to improve it? If you are familiar with apple, they don't do everything at once, they just tease you each time they release something. It's all about making money. When the iPhone5 comes out, people will line up to buy it, no matter what

lol I have a ok  phone still running android 1.6(donut) on cricket...... with barnicle wifi(free app off the market) and a rooted phone I can tether as many people wirelesly as I want as well now... its NOT the blazing new 4g network but it IS 3g and it IS only 55 bucks a month for unlimited EVERYTHING.....   

not that iphones are not sexy because they are...... android is just more fun lol and the newer android operation systems (froyo, gingerbread) they just get better and better and even faster and faster on current hardware....

Oh but trust me android powered phone can be a pain in the butt too (but thats usualy becasue we are to busy modding them and crash them all the time )

Just a useability note here, but I have always heard that the iPhone makes a great toy and kind of Swiss Army Knife, but it's an atrocious phone.

verizon is 30$ a month unlimited 3g with unlimited texting at 5$. So verizon is 10$ cheaper than cricket id imagine

You need to remember,

That every piece of electronic equipment that is released, is already 6 months obsolete !

There will most likely be the release of something newer and more exciting shortly after Verizon gets the old i-phone. And that too will be 6 months obsolete ounce released also !

I never run out to buy something "NEW" and pay exorbitant prices for it. I just wait to see what's coming out next

well that 55 also covers unlimited calls, unlimited long distance, unlimited roaming, unlimited 411, um...... it coveres litteraly everything all unlimited..... Same plan through verizon is closer to 100 bucks a month belive with the unlimited calls
