typical chrono speed for Trail NP AW 22.cal

I don't have a chrony. What is the usual muzzle velocity for CPHP's?

Hi John,

I don't have the AW, but do have the Trail "Hardwoods" edition (same powerplant, fps) and it is rated at 950 fps in 22 but in reality it shoots 14.66 gr H&N FTT's @ 740 over my chrony.

950 fps is only with alloy pellets.

Mine does 710 fps with CPHP's.

On edit: I see you're in Canada.  Did you buy the Canadian version, which is limited to 495 fps by law, or the American version, which is the one will do 700+ fps but is considered a firearm?

You can buy two versions in Canada. The under 500FPS does not need a license and is not considered a "firearm" Over 500 FPS is considered a firearm and you need to have a  Possession and Acquisition Certificate (course/test). Air pistols under 500FPS are non PAL rated. Pistols over 500 FPS are considered restricted PAL and require you to belong to a gun club to transport to and back.

Im getting 785, with new seal and a re-lube.

was getting 750 with the stock seal and no tunning.

Here are some tuning results from a Trail wood stock, the seal was a little tight but should break in nicely...
