Just got a e-mail from pyramid air my r-7 is done need to contact them with payment imfo and I am a little nervous, got this gun new 3 years ago noticed a small dimple in metal on air chamber figured it was just a surface blemish shot it and it has become my favorite fire arm and I own many. This summer I noticed when I would shoot it and put it away the next day when I would take it out there would be a small bubble of fluid over the hole, wipe it off shoot it nothing put it away next day another bubble? Then my accuracy started to drop off shot it over chrony 400 ft with JSB 7.87 (possible broken spring) gun smith buddy said the hole was a possible weld burn through? Sent it off first of April, not sure how they could fix the hole problem without replacing the air chamber? Guess I'll find out when I talk to them on Monday $97.00 hope its as good as it was when I first got it, shooting off a rest in basement almost one hole at 10 meters! cover them with a dime at 18 1/2 yds and could move it around some and not see the holes! really hooked on these air guns just got a CMP 853 best $100 dollars I ever spent, shot 8 steel targets this morning off deck 30 yds off hand 12 shots, targets are 1 1/2 by 2". went out again tonight didn't do as good it was starting to get dark had one target left missed it 3 times in a row stepped it the house grabbed my IZH 46 with a red dot fired one shot hit the target, started putting everything away wife says you done already yep always quit on a good (lucky) note.
I possibly see a HW 97 in my future? Sure is nice not having to load everything in truck and driving to the range, and when the snow is up to your butt I can just head down the basement and shoot to my hearts content.

Hard to say without seeing a pic, but it sure sounds like a tiny pinhole from weld slag. Most likely PA replaced the whole tube, and you should be good to go. Accuracy shouldn't suffer, unless they replaced the entire rifle, and that only means you're back to square one (not a bad place to be...it means you've got a new rifle!).
Good luck, let us know the outcome, and post some pics of her when she gets home.
