To remove it JUST remove the screws from the shroud end of the plastic breech. DO NOT separate the entire gun. After the screws are out a slight lift and twist and the shroud come off. Add electrical tape about 3/8th's of an inch back on the straw barrel until the muzzle fits just snuggly, but not so tight you need to force it on. Then reassemble. For the caulk, get a tube or 2 of cheap silicone caulk for a caulking gun. Remove the butt plate from the 880. Under the butt plate is a hole to put the caulk through. If you want the stock totally full if I remember right it takes a little more than one tube. Several here have just done 1 tube and are really pleased with the balance and overall better feel of the 880. Have fun!!
