I think it just "stuck" for the first time this season here in North Texas, we may have a whopping inch by the end of the season:)

We are bracing for "BLIZZARD 11" here in the not so deep south. They truly don't know how much is coming but it's supposed to snow all day monday so 6-10" would be likely. We braved(and were) the bread and milk crowd at the grocery store, filled the gas cans and restocked the firewood, we are ready for snow Armageddon

Yikes! Up on the roof top, click click click . . .
The DirectTV signal just went out, less than an hour before the national championship football game. OH NOOOOOO!!!!!
Luckily, the TV dish is on the screen porch roof, and it can be accessed by going out the upstairs bathroom window. The wife and daughter just formed a bucket brigade, passing pitchers of warm water to me out the window. After melting off about 1/2 inch of glaze ice that had accumulated on the face of the reflecting dish, the signal is back 5x5 and the TV working. But tomorrow AM in Columbia SC is going to be a disaster on the roads.
Go SEC!

Blizzard/white-out conditions right now, - probably about a foot so far, and coming down at 2"-3" an hour. Shoveled 3 times so far, and will again before dark. Absolutely beautiful, ...
