For years now I've shot the 20 grain H&N Field Target Trophies out of my .25 springers and gas rams. I decided to give the 25 grain JSB Exact Kings a shot (pun intended.. lol) and my CAP tuned Patriot .25 rifle just loves them! I still am managing 720 fps with these heavier pellets out of this rifle with a muzzle energy of around 30 fpe, but it's the accuracy that's King! (again, pun intended.. lol)

A look at the ballistics with Chairgun shows that these pellets are superior for my use which is knocking thick steel targets over at 40 - 50 yards. Most notably is the reduced susceptibility to wind drift which is significant.

Love the days when I can work from home and take a shooting break on the home range to clear the cobwebs... lol

Thank you for the info and have some jsb's on the way, nobody around here stocks quarter bore. I was very lucky in the purchase of this rifle, I responded to the kind gentleman first and then for some reason Craigslist flagged the listing so I was the only one that responded. When I receive my pellets I will chrony her and post some pic's.
