Air Inlet Valve

I have 2 Daisy 880's and they both work fine. One of them makes an audible "thunk" each time the air inlet valve opens. The other does not.  Any idea why that is?

p.s. They're both ridiculously accurate. I've seen demo's of very expensive air rifles that didn't even come close to this accuracy. Is this the best kept secret in the airgun community?

Likely .    Both of my Daisy 880's are greate guns with plenty of accuracy and power (they have been power modded, by me).    The only other reasonably powerful AirGun that I have found to be of equal accuracy is the Daisy 901 (for which there is NO need to tape the barrel unlike the Daisy 880 ).
