Wood Stocks/Forearms for 880's?

I have made numerous wood (mesquite) stocks/forearms for Crosman 760s and I am thinking of making some for Daisy 880's.  I am curious if there would be any interest.  The price would be about $35 for a set plus $15 for shipping.

that would be a awesome upgrade for the new 880. at 50 bucks that would be a stretch for a $40 gun...but if it's all 3 pieces.....you could be on the way to the $100 pumper masterpiece....

I have a 177X that's pretty nice handling. Got a leaky valve, though. Gotta get that fixed. A wood stock for the 880 would be cool.

Thanks for the positive feedback.  I have an 880 that I will practice on next week.  I have attached a couple of pics of a Crosman 760 that I added mesquite wood to.  I am pretty sure I can get the price down to $45 and that would include shipping.

That looks really nice. Maybe you could give a lower price by leaving the wood unfinished so the purchaser can finish it to their liking, and make a finished stock an option for a few bucks more.

How about you make it one piece  where the reviver sits in the stock to increase accuracy ? There was a pic of one online some where.

This is a but ugly bull pup job on the 880, but the concept is unique...

I took apart my 880 tonight.  I have  a newer model with plastic receiver and 6 screws holding the stock.  This would be a nightmare to make  a wood stock for.  I am thinking that the older model with the metal receiver and 2 stock screws might be a better candidate for a wood stock.  Any thoughts from 880 owners?

  I have thought about doing it. However the cost /work involved to do it far outweights the original price of the 880. I estimated I would have to charge $80 for a stock out of walnut, and that is not making good money.

   If you can make a quality stock and ship it out the door for $45 I may buy one myself. I don't see how it can be done so cheaply.

See I would love to have just a rough version of this so I could customize it my self. Make it out of say oak ? Kinda a you finish type deal.
