My New HW95 .20

Just got an HW95, found it used. Its in 99% id say. Look great, shoots great. Im looking for tune ideas. I was thinking Hornet tune kit for it, some ultimox lube after cleaning it all up. Spring 'Twanks" pretty loud. Also cocking arms jiggles. I was told that is normal, but id like to hear you guys ideas on what i can do to tighten it. Hearing it jiggle, walking with it turns me off.

Nice find!! And in 5mm too. Kewl!!!! I like .20 cal as we'll and just ordered a new HW30S Deluxe. Only down side is the lack of ammo selection But on the bright side, your rifle is better equipt power wise to handle most of the offerings and with quality guns, they aren't as finicky with what you feed them. You have a finely built german rifle. Enjoy

I have a 98, same power plant, and it has a Vortek PG2 kit in it. I really can't tell you how impressed I continue to be with this bad girl!!
She is so consistent, easy to shoot, not hold or pellet fussy, powerful and laser like accurate!!
I have around 12,000 down the tube and she is smooth as glass!!
She averages 945 with a SD of 1.41 with CPLs and 925 with FTTs!! I've taken squirrels at 65 yards no problem and nailed a HOSP at 90!
This rifle will make you love her!!

Never heard of the Hornet kit, but the Vortek is a winner in this lady bro!!
In regards to the jiggle.....maybe pivot bolt is a little loose?? I mention it because after about 5,000 rounds my barrel wouldn't hold itself up after being cocked. I would let to of the barrel before I closed it and it would fall. I tightened the pivot bolt and it was fine. I just picked mine up and shook the snot out of it and no jiggle. Give it a shot.

Hornet kit is from JM. Would be a nice upgrade to your HW95 also.

Pivot Bolt is tight, its the cocking arm that jiggles ever so slightly. Seems to be machine pressed, no way to tighten it. Checked the R7... The R7 jiggles also, but has a different type of cocking arm. Also much smaller. I can settle on that, does not jiggle enough. Shoot cycle is great, shot a bunch today. Accuracy is impressive as i had expected. Spring twank needs work, and found a new one today... The click you wait for when cocking seems to take forever. Gotta cock in 99% then give it a little extra oomf at the end. Forgot what this stage is called. But wounder what i could do to shorten the cocking length.
