Beeman P1: RWS or JSB pellets?

I tried a bunch of pellets with my Beeman P1 pistol (4.5mm). The ones with which I got the best groupings at 10 meters were the RWS Super H Point (6.9 g) and the JSB Exact Express (7.9 g).
I am hesitant about which of the two to keep. I am not sure if the RWS H Point will hold a good trajectory for longer shots. Also, I think that their lighter weight and shape might not deliver enough power for good plinking and occasional pest control.
Regarding the JSB Express is 7.9 grains too heavy for a spring pistol? I will be getting slower velocities, thatīs for sure. They are also considerably more expensive than the RWS.
As I mentioned I will use them for plinking, paper targets and the occasional rodent or crow.
Which ones would you choose? Many thanks!

My HW45 was near always shot with the RWS Hobby 7g wadcutters.
Within the pistols honest effective range accurate as anything else, yet hit harder to boot being a blunt WC

Mine's happy with rws basics, and they are affordable. That's important 'cause you can go thru a lot of pellets with one of these, tk

Hobbys are solid, RWS R-10 Match Pistol pellets give me the best groups in my pistol followed up with the Crosman Premier Super Match. A wadcutter at 10m or less will destroy rodent. Crows on the other hand are hardy birds and in my experience are much harder to take out. If a had to take out a crow I would go for a .22 rifle at least around 15 FPE at the muzzle.

Even though the JSB Express pellets are heavier, this doesn't mean they will necessarily shoot slower. Most of my pellet rifles and pistols shoot RWS pellets slower, on average, than JSB offerings. JSB pellets just give me better speeds in about everything. The only exception for me is my Ben 392, which shoots RWS pellets faster than anything. If you want some more speed, you might try 7.33 JSB RS. As already stated, the 7 grain RWS hobby and basics are a good pellet for pistol work, especially if you buy a sleeve -5000 count, and save $. The 7 grain RWS Meisterkugeln are excellent as well and maintain high velocity.
I would just shoot the pellets you have, and not worry too much, both are quality pellets. One pellet wont necessarily kill better than another within reason. However, I have found that RWS Superpoints, though slower in my HW40, do penetrate quite deeper than other pellets into old phone books. For general plinking, I prefer RWS basics, as I get 5000 for $42.

My P1 likes the 7 grain RWS Meisterkugeln best but is also is quite accurate with Crosman Destroyers as well.
