I Bought a Crosman C9A today can anybody tell me where I can find some information on year by the serial # on the gun. Thanks

Head on over to crosman.com, they have a serial number breakdown for benjamin and sheridan guns.  I believe it's under the customer service tab at the bottom of the page.

If it's a Crosman built gun (I think the C9A are, it will say Crosman on the gun rather than Sheridan, Racine, Wisc) then the first three digits of the serial are your date. The first digit is the month. 1 through 9 for Jan through Sept. or you have a letter O, N, D for Oct., Nov., or Dec. the next two digits are the year.
