What makes some break barrel rifles hit near perfect right out othe box?

I've read reviews of some break barrel(German, English made, etc.) rifles that are close to if not tack drivers with maybe just a bore cleaning right out of the box. Do those mfgs. have better machining using closer tolerances?  Better steel?  Better designed triggers, powerplants, etc?  Better stock design and attachement method?

If you've ever experienced this phenomenon,  please tell us about and what you think made it possible. Maybe include the make and model too.

That can be true yes.  I think quality control and taking pride in a product will come with a higher price tag. But when all the manufacturer cares about how many are completed in a day corners will be cut and mistakes will happen but thats how they get the consumer a good price. Just look at crosmans trigger everyone knows it is horrible and so does crosman but it is cheap to produce.  I read somewhere that they took a look at a trigger like charliedatunas they liked it but said it would be to expensive to produce so you end up with a mediocore trigger.

I would say in some cases the quality you receive may follow money spent. I don't have any high dollar springers,but I can say
my somewhat high dollar CO2 rifle,Walther Lever Action, needed no sight adjustments, to hit the bulls eye!
My springers did need work to shoot where I wanted.

I've experienced this with the stack of $100 bills
I've had several rifles that shot freakishly well out of the box.
1. Beeman (Theoben Crow Magnum) - unreal combination of accuracy, power and smoothness. IMO, this rifle feels the greatest in my hands with the best weight distribution and balance.
2. Beeman RX-1 - I believe it's more luck of the draw with this one, it came with a select group (shot target card with a single hole group) and it shoots just like that!
3. AA Pro Sport & Tx200HC - both are the proverbial tack driver but the Pro Sport has ethereal accuracy. It actually sent chills down my spine while shooting the first time.

I put a brand new in the box springer out on the porch and waited until an asteroid passed close by. Dead on right out of the box. ….. seriously, its quality and luck and some work on the part of the buyer to get any air gun to shoot real good. Testing pellets, trying different pellets, spending lots of time with your gun. Become ONE with the gun grasshopper ……..

  With the less pricey rifles definitely luck of the draw to get out of the box accurate. With the higher end rifles getting one that doesn't shoot well is also luck of the draw but the other end of the spectrum.

I got a hw 30 because I see less complaints on german gate than others. Smooth and accurate out of box not like some of my others. Love this gun. Makes me look good.

Crosman springer trigger can be fixed with a 15 cent screw the next longer sized one. I think it is M3 or 4. Just take out the adjustment screw put in the longer one and the more you screw it in the play gets longer until a 1/8" is left to let off. If you screw it in to much gun will not cock

Well in the last year or so with 3 new rifles and 4 new scopes and in the process trying new scopes on different guns etc. It took at least 20 to 40 pellets for me to get scopes set up on each gun.

As I mentioned on another thread with the new HW30 on the 6th shot at 10yards I hit the inch bullseye dot. I know for some this is probably not a big deal but with my shooting skills it's pretty much a miracle. I got to blame in on the new out of the box gun.

I have found luck of the draw is directly correlated with how much is spent. Much less complaints with higher end guns. $89 bucks for a rifle and scope.......pray for a good one.
Want a tack driving break barrel straight out the box??? Grab a 95, R9 or 98.
