it adds more power, and uses a heavy tophat, which is something I personally do not like. do whatever you wish, but the gun is so sweet with a jm kit....Josh

Bingo...go with the JM kit and cocking will be easier.....the heavy top hat in the V-tek is there for inertia/ power.The Jm kit does not have it.EASY rule----JM= factory power + smooth shootin and easy cocking.V-tek -- + power and a little harder cocking as a result. Both are good just two different schools.In addition:The JM kit drops in the same as any other kit...there is no mystery to a JM kit....it just doesn't look as cool as others. If you get stuck JM is not there for you...so what ! You have a number of us here that can help should you need it.Happy Shootin!Petey

He has helped me several times ordering to assure I got the correct items. Queries should be short and direct, to the point. He is very busy and does not have time to instruct folks on the use of his products, though. I'm certain he would stand behind a faulty part, if in fact one left his shop. tk
