We're planning on a 48- 52 shot event.

Upon arrival follow the “Air Rifle Match” signs directly to Range 6 (Silhouette Range)

The match is open to anyone interested in learning about Field Target competition as well as experienced shooters. All members of existing field target clubs are welcome.

Equipment requirements:
.177 or .22 caliber air rifle shooting at 20 foot lbs of energy or less. Almost all spring loaded or cocking air rifles qualify. Most .177 PCP rifles and most .22 PCP air rifles shooting 750 fps of less qualify.

Optional but recommended, a set of shooting sticks or adjustable bi-pod and a bucket or stool to sit on while shooting. Eye protection is required for all participants and observers.

The Game:
We will be shooting a field target match using knock down targets at ranges from 10 to 55 yards with bulls eyes from 0.5 to 1.5 inches.

Course Set Up: 7:30am
Registration: 8:45am
Sight in opens: 9:00am
Match start: 10:00am (approx)

Other information:
Match fees will be $15 per person
Beverages and snacks will be provided

The match is weather dependent and will not be held in the rain or muddy conditions. A decision will be made by 5pm Saturday April 13 if the match is canceled. The cancellation notice will be posted on the Yellow and GTA Field Target forums no later than 6:00pm Saturday.

I am planning on coming and getting myself embarrassed, again  . Will be bringing a FWB 300S (so I'll be in the springer class) this time sporting a scope that arrives on Monday. I have to get familiarized with the combo in the next few days to get ready for the competition.

It was really fun last time despite my dismal score and getting a little sick afterward (could barely drive back home). It was good to meet up with many friendly airgunners and enjoy the nice weather. I look forward to the 4/13 event!

I just found that I will be using a scope (Bushnell Banner 4-12x40) that Motorhead has been using on his FWB. It is a proven combo, I am the limiting factor  .

I had a few hours free today, so I prepared a bit for the match by getting in some practice and sighting in my TX200HC.  I'm still 50/50 if I can go on Sunday, but it won't be for lack of trying!  I won't know until Saturday night if I work on Sunday or not, but of course I hope it falls on Monday instead.    I hope to see you all in a few days!
