Sights for 2289

Does anyone make iron sights besides the LPA?  I really want some irons that fit my steel breech but I'm kinda at a point that it seems they have the only set.  I'd really like a set of night sights that would fit

Any suggestions on how to mount that from sight on the 2289?  Other than gluing it....I guess it wouldn't really matter though

Night sights?
I have two guns - 2289 with 14.5" barrel and 1322 with 12" barrel originally off the 2289.

As Bart suggested I put the 760 light pipe front sight on the 1322 and I'm trying to use it with the factory Crosman rear sight on plastic breech. It works but the plastic breech and 2289 barrel band allow for too much movement of the barrel and accuracy is suffering.

I have the steel breech for this gun and so now I'm in the same boat as you, trying to decide what to mount on it if not a red dot.

Truth be told I really like the red dot on my 2289, and the Williams is around $70 or nearly twice as much as a typical UTG 30mm red dot. That makes it hard for me to justify other than the low profile and no worries about a dead battery.

For low light conditions, the red dot is pretty cool, but for "night" hunting that's a whole nother setup.

Industry Brand makes open rear sights that fit the steel breach in the $15 range they have click adjustment for windage and elevation. I'm using a Leapers 3-9x40 with high mounts for mine because these old eyes don't work like they used to.

   70 bucks   You're looking at the wrong sight.   The WGRS-54 runs about 36 bucks at most places, sometimes it'll get down to ~25.      http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/sights/rear-sights/wgrs-54-fits-sav-ans-rem-win--sku962100054-16154-36252.aspx      It's the Williams FP series that's pricey.   

    As to the 760 sight swap, it's a matter of pulling the sight off of the 2289, and popping the 760 sight in it's place, they're a push fit.

Hey that's a great looking solution. I only see it with the peep though. Must be they have a part number for open blade type or is that an add-on you buy along with it? Guess I can call or email them to find out.

I ordered the following and put it on last night.  The sight screw, #6-40 x .145, FSH is a little pricey, maybe one could be found at a hardware store.  The front sight assembly for the Benjamin Discovery would work also but is going to run $21.86 which I got as well but forgot to order the sight screw.  I have some tweaking to do but so far I think it will work just fine and I can still put my Bug Buster scope on with out interfering with the sights.  May have to invest in some see through rings so I can use both the scope or the sights.  I love the fiber optic colors, red on the rear sight and green on the front, in the right light they look like they are glowing!!

Yes, they make an open blade. They even make it with FO. And the blades come in different heights.
