Building a portable fill station for the FD PCP

A couple of fill stations combining 48ci tanks and 3000psi / 1500psi output regulators will make my FD PCPs for twice the fun. (Pumping isn't what I generally have in mind when I want to go shooting.) 

The tanks are easy, but I’m having no luck finding regulators. Vendor suggestions, modding suggestions, or recommendations for a different completely approach would be most welcome.

I'm calling now to see if he can mod his regulator for 1500 out.

...been shooting for nearly 60 years, but I'm definitely a PCP noob.
Please explain the third link (following "I will also buy a") It connects to a page about ASAs and adapters rather than to a specific product.
Also, could you suggest a steel nipple. Otherwise I'll likely pick up an anatomical something intended for an android.

good one, works flawlessly
You can buy a 6-8 inch high pressure hose instead of the nipple.
also buy good quality stuff, ninja is a good brand.

OK here it goes

what you see is

the female connector, the steel nipple, then the Cp valve and last a pressure gauge, so I can see how much pressure I'm filling with

3000psi Bottle-->modded Ninja reg with 1500 output and 3000psi burst disc -->HP hose with quick connect??-->Custom Products on/off valve with a gauge and short quick connect HP hose

Is the above correct? Also, am I correct in assuming that the Custom Products valve is like a "T" in that it has three air openings?

look at the picture, here is the valve attached to the ninja tank.

the valve has 3 holes

1 is for bleeding the air, it's the small one you see in the top of the valve body.
the other 2 are opposed to each other, I used one for the foster fitting, ans one for a pressure gauge

4. HP fill hose with male and female quick connect fittings

I personally would not replace the 1.8K burst disc with a 3K, as you are defeating its purpose, which is to protect the gun from seeing more than 1800 psi if the regulator fails.... I will be building exactly what you are talking about for my son, and will be using the 1.8K burst disc.... That will limit you to 1500 psi output on the regulator, which is the recommended fill pressure on the FD-PCP....

no the hose has 2 male fittings, one side goes to the Cp Valve, and the other to the foster female quick connect
6 inches long will be OK, some prefer longer hoses like 12 inches or something like that.

as you see I don't use a hose, I'm carefull when filling the gun to have the fittings well align.
but if you install a small hose, filling can be a lot easier

With an 1800psi burst disk, might it be better to the keep the output at 1400psi? Given a handy refill, I don't think I'd miss the 100psi.

At 1400 you should NEVER have a problem blowing the 1.8K disc.... I had a problem once at 1600, but not at 1500, although I have heard of one chap who did.... It could have been a case of the setpoint slightly above 1500 and the tolerance on the burst disc on the low side.... or possibly metal fatigue on the disc.... I would sooner drop the setpoint 100 psi than remove the 1.8K disc on an FD-PCP....

The potential for face shrapnel is a real buzz-Kill, so 1400psi it is. 
Besides, if the FD PCPs are ever certified out for more pressure, the rig can be modified upwards accordingly.

try jdsairman.com he has regulators from 1000-4000 and all in between and sells the regulators alone tanks alone or together
