I personally would not replace the 1.8K burst disc with a 3K, as you are defeating its purpose, which is to protect the gun from seeing more than 1800 psi if the regulator fails.... I will be building exactly what you are talking about for my son, and will be using the 1.8K burst disc.... That will limit you to 1500 psi output on the regulator, which is the recommended fill pressure on the FD-PCP.... Bob
A couple of fill stations combining 48ci tanks and 3000psi / 1500psi output regulators will make my FD PCPs for twice the fun. (Pumping isn't what I generally have in mind when I want to go shooting.) The tanks are easy, but I’m having no luck finding regulators. Vendor suggestions, modding suggestions, or recommendations for a different completely approach would be most welcome. Thanks, David
