I will continue to do more research into this, but considering i was about to do 100 yard target practice with my older Winchester, i thought a better gun could do about double that distance. The again, with this current rifle, i was shooting about 8" higher and slightly to the right just to hit the target itself.

But airguns are whole nother deal. Just stick to 150 and less. They aren'tpowder burners. You have to go way up in caliber to be able to shoot several hundred yards, ans air use and noise and everything else. Just use a .22lr for the further stuff.

Plus it's more fun with a .22lr. It's too easy with a 223, even from an AR and a red dot.
wow! Well after looking at some things, Maybe you guys are right! Maybe i should go with a .22lr. I wonder if there are any manufacturers that make them closer to 50" in length and preferably all black. All the ones i am finding are like 36 and 37" long. Doesn't hold up top its name Long Rifle
