New benjamin .22 classic-pellets aren't sitting flush?

So I got a new rifle, I was looking for a scope for my ruger and then it was weird, it was like I blacked out and wound up in my truck driving away with this new rifle?? Kind of strange...
Anyway, its beautiful! But, crossman pellets or rws dont seat flush in the breach, you have to push them in with a pen or something. Which is super annoying, I would prefere to just push them in with my finger.
I have a whole machine shop at my disposal, could I use a tapered reamer to open it up ever so slightly? Any betters ideas than a reamer, I think I read about people using sand paper in a dremel. I think i would prefere a reamer over that since it is true and round.
Oh! And this center point scope that comes with it looks super impressive, but is it pretty cheap? Seems no matter how I focus it I can't get a crystal clear imagine at 45 yards with it.

Never mind, I went ahead and reamed very slightly as a lead in and put a tiny chamfer on the breach. Much better now.
I am liking this thing, its different for sure. My ruger loved light wad cutters, but this thing hates them! I was shooting .97g round nose pellets and doing well.
Try some .75g wadcutters, and it slows down soo much that my poi drops about 8" at 45 yards. I guess the bigger rounds see a bit more air resistance heh.
