I like the Vortek line of offerings for the AA rifles.  Even though its no longer listed, I think Tom Gore of Vortek would make you a 14fpe FT kit like he sold on his site until recently.  Otherwise, the 12fpe is very nice along with the o-ring piston seal.  That's what I use in my Prosport in .177 and its very gentle to shoot and easily passes the pellet on the scope turret test.  I don't personally have any experience with the new HO (high output) kit he currently sells, but if you have a .22 cal, then that extra power might help for the heavier .22 pellets.  With the inner and outer guide, I find the kits to be quiet in the sense you don't really hear spring noises, and the recoil is nice because its straight forward and back with no torque once you've put in a Vortek kit.

Along with the Vortek offerings, there is also Jim Maccari at Air Rifle Headquarters.  He offers a couple different options for the TX/PS.
I don't think anyone has had any complaints about either Vortek or Maccari spring quality...both are superb upgrades.

And there you have it - people in the Vortek camp and in the Maccari camp.  You will find both highly recommended.  I have yet to do either.  I do recommend polishing both ends of the spring.  I put a flat under water, place some wet or dry sandpaper on it.  Hold the spring perpendicular to it and keep working the spring until the end is smooth.  Reverse the spring and do it again.
