I don't have a lot of before pictures but I'm sure most of you know what gen1 marauder looks like. I decided I wanted a bulpup because I like the off hand balance for hunting over the standard stock. The pic in my profile or whatever is the 2nd prototype I had made. It had a few issues so it went into the fireplace along with the first and third attempts.  I decided I would change up my materials and started to experiment with aluminum. Had a bunch of 6061 T6 laying around, so I got to work. This is where I'm at right now.    I still need to make a trigger guard, cheek rest and safety but she is a shooting prototype. Have to play around with the forward trigger group a bit as it is not as sensitive as I would like. I made t so that I could attach off the rack AR grips and what not. My favorite part though is the fully adjustable recoil pad. It allows for 4 inches of horizontal travel and a little over 2 inches vertically. Overall, I am much happier with this version over my previous attempts. I'll get her completely buttoned up as time permits but I thought I would share now that she's shooting again.

Great resources, thanks much. I hope to get the trigger group worked out this week. Overall pretty good, just need to get the "feel" right. It's a single rod system, not sure what I'll do about the safety yet. I have some new reading material to help me figure that out  I'll try to take a few more pics...never seem to remember when I get into a groove  Other than that, it's shooting pretty good right now. Just retuned it for 16 shots at 55 fpe. Grouping 1/2" or better at 50 yards.
