Inexpensive shooting rest

Got it through Amazon for $43.09 last week.  I was very skeptical about it's usefulness in zeroing in my Hawke Airmax but it works very well.  Would probably work better if I had a proper bench but I actually prefer standing up when shooting.

It's a MTM K-Zone Shooting rest.  It's hollow front and rear but I added no weight internally or externally and it still was steady.  It has  6, small, rubber covered feet.





Yes,  it's canted to the right and I didn't notice that until after I looked at this pic.  The top of the garbage container slopes a little so I  will  raise the plywood a little next time.

LOL!  Yeah,  it's 'portable'😊. Have to remove my Gamo first though.

The rear can be removed if you want to use the  rest with a handgun.  The black container can be removed if room is needed for a magazine.



So far,  it's exceeded my expectations.

I have one for 10 years and it has held up fine!! I use mine mostly for cleaning, my springers don't like resting on it to shoot. It does work well as a rest if you lay a soft material on the front rest like a sock filled with rice.

LOL.... now I have found that my poplar 18 in. diameter round which serves as a pellet trap can be used for something else...

Seriously, I have a foam filled neck brace and a sock full of rice that I use from the bench.
