BSA Tactical XL 0.177

Got my new XL out to the range and tried to put some groups together at my chosen zero of 27 yds (shooting off a bench), I went for 5 shot groups ,but I should have stuck to 3 as I always throw the 4th or 5th shot adrift!! .....any how this gun shoots far better than I ever could and next time I will have some JSBs as well as the RWS pellets I`ve been using........

Thanks Duck,but the first 6 or 7 awful target cards I shot where enough to kill any romance! ,then I just started to get the feel of the rifle and things went better!.............................(I still want a 0.25 like yours to keep my 0.177 company!!  )

Thanx for the offer, but my club gets us bulk deals (and Scotland is a long waay away from you! ); I`ll try out JSBs ,but the SuperDomes were promising and the gun has still to be run in.

  I got a wood stocked version, and it is a great little hunting carbine.

  These little rifles sure pack a punch, at least the gas ram versions do. It shoots very well, but it has a bit of snap when recoiling.

  They are elegant looking rifles no matter what stock they wear!!
