C9A trigger job?

when i was young, i had a sheridan blue streak. i can not tell you how many little lives it ended, bottles it broke, and centers of targets it shot out. but alas, nothing lasts forever. the barrel had seperated from the main tube, which was soldered back on, the safety finally wore out, and the kicker is it started to self fire (meaning i would be walking along and it would self discharge without my finger even being inside the trigger guard). after i verified that was actually the case, i decided the best thing to do would be to put the old blue streak to bed for the last time. i dismanteled it to a point where no one would put it back together, and set parts of it out to the road in the trash over 5 weeks. anyway, fastforward a few decades, and i buy a new benjamin blue streak (model C9A) that looks way to close to the original. anyway, i also bought their "intermount" scope mounts, that in my opinion are 1 step above dog shi*. luckily, i have a brother than is a machinist, and i designed, and he made a good mount that holds a zero. now, i want to attack the lousey (lawyer or bean counter) trigger. i started to look at it, but stopped when i got to the rivets holding the thing together. i am not as good as i was 15 years ago about figuring out how things work, so i figured i would try to get help before i made to big of a mess out of things. is there a schematic of where the peices/parts go inside the trigger housing? and or a schematic of how to modify it so it works like it should?

so, besides removing the rivets, it looks like i may have to remove a plunger from the gun, is that correct? what do i need to know about doing that? should the gun not have any air in the chamber? i found someplace that said the best way to store the rifle was to leave 1 pump of air in it at all times. so i am following that advice.
