JSB Exact Pellets not snug in Hatsan Sniper

From what I have read on the net, the JSB Exact are the choice pellets for the 125 Sniper. However, I have to be careful closing the barrel or the pellet will fall out. Doesn't this loose fit effect POI?
Also, thinking the seal went bad again, the gun was sent back to Hatsan. The seal was fine, the muzzle was clipping the pellets. Even though it's been fixed, five shot groups are less than stellar. If the gun doesn't sell, what other pellets do you folks recommend?

Different guns appear to prefer different pellet fits. My Crosman Nitro Venom prefers a bit of a snug - though not tight - fit. My TX 200 likes a looser fit. You might start with the Crosman Hollow Point and go from there. They are a snug fit for me.

Benjamin pellets are listed as 6.4 on the tin. I haven't tried them but I'm having the same issue as you. The pellets don't fall out of my breech but they are very loose. From what I've found on the web all the 25 cal pellets are 6.35 but the Benjiman pellets.

It appears that different air rifles prefer different combinations of many things when it comes to the "best" pellet for it/them, and it's more than just idle gossip that each and every individual air rifle may need a different pellet to bring out its potential. The other day I was test firing an air rifle, just trying it out for velocity/energy and nothing more and I noticed that some pellets within the pack I was using, fitted looser than others and funnily enough these pellets gave the lower velocities, each and every one of them. Just how they would figure in accuracy is another story but some people may find this a desirable feature. Just because you have a particular brand and model, doesn't mean that all the same rifles will have the same results with the same pellets, good or bad. Manufacturing lines do have good and bad units rolling off them, and they do have different batches of different components going into the same models. Sometimes you'll find that a particular rifle may come out with two (or more) different barrels, eg.. some might have 8 lands and others may have 12 lands, just for example though.. These barrels may come from two different sources and are bound to give different results,, so the pellet that many other owners recommended may not work well at all in yours for velocity and/or energy and may also affect the way the pellet fits into the barrel.
Airguns are a mass produced commodity, so they're bound to differ from the first to the last off the line. Unfortunately, testing many pellets is usually the only way to find the best one...

Yep, the added expense of finding the magic pellet for each gun. It's a shame we don't live in a perfect world.

JSB King Exacts are usually the tcket but not always. Even if someone else had your exact same rifle and pellet "x" worked for them does not mean it would for you. Sometimes you just get what you get.
If your looking to a good .25 springer you may want to look to a Webley Patriot. I just picked one up and these are nice rifles with power and seem to shoot the JSB very well. But then again don't let me influence you I am just letting you know these are better than what some people dog them on. I know it is not a British Patriot in the overall scheme but they are real nice.

Eddie..............here is a link to a member's target results from a non-tuned Turkish Webley Patriot. Pretty impressive.

My 125 was letting older crow mags drop about 1/3 of the way down the barrel. No joke. Newer crows don't do it, though.
I have a skirt spreader, and use it on every pellet from a tin that has shown it contains pellets that are loose in the breech. I haven't made the time to truly sit down and test pellets, though, so I can't give you more than that. I haven't figured out the hold, so I never got consistent grouping with any pellet.
