Scott Tuned LGV

Opened the box this evening. Cleaned the barrel and shot a few pellets in the dark to see how well it functioned.  Very smooth, cocks very easy (no point in installing a muzzlebrake for cocking), and the tuning trigger is great.  I don't shoot often off hand but I may do some with this rifle.  The balance feels very good to me.  I think the wood and bluing look good.  Not AA "wow" but understated descent. Thanks Scott.

LGV's are just getting new guides and piston liners ... some barrel prep and trigger work.
Have not seen any need to "Kit" these wonderful rifles. Properly set up there just super shooters !!

I've got +500 through my Motorhead tuned LGV .177, and I can't put it down. Shoots several different pellets exceptionally well, not too hold sensitive, same hole accuracy at 20 yrds. over and over and over again. I have several +50 degree days coming next week according to the weatherman, looking forward to trying it at distance.

I just finished shooting the LGV and the HW97. I think the LGV will become my favorite.  I'm impressed with how easy it cocks and the balance of the rifle. I tested it for droop and there isn't any.  My HW80 has two inches of droop for comparison.  Didn't seem hold sensitive. Best description "smooth".  I think it will be accurate.  Got a couple of good groups today and I wasn't shooting very well. The wood has some descent figure in it but you have to study it to realize this because the finish hides the figure

I meant to say the HW80 has 15 moa if I calculated correctly.

got back from a long, hard bike ride and shot the LGV-two 10 shot groups at 25 yards.  Both were one hole groups but the better one was .37" c-t-c. I have an old Bugbuster 3-9 with thick recticule on it which was challenging-waiting for a 6-20 Clearidge to come in, I was tired, and the LGV isn't broken in.  Taking all that into account it looks very promising.
