Guys what can you tell me about the RWS 34 N. I assume since the gun has a stainless look about it that the N stands for nickel plated, is that correct? I had an acquaintance drop one off at my house to take a look at. His only complaint was “it don’t shoot right” and “I can’t hit anything with it”. It’s a nice looking little gun, it has a wood stock painted black, and cocks as smooth as can be, and the trigger in it is great. It’s a .177 and it was shooting fairly consistently in the mid 800s. The only problem I could see/feel on the outside is its kind or hard to get locked up. The live jam is rather rough with some serious burrs on it. I had the owner remove the scope so I could test it with a proven scope. I shot several groups of up to ten shots form about 17 yards that were very good, not dime size due to just one or two pellets, but they could all be covered up with nickel. Seems like a really nice little shooter and I may make him an offer to buy it since I know he doesn’t shoot it a lot, what a fair price for a gun like that?

Found this description on the Cobra Airgun and AirgunDepot listings.......
"This model is also offered in a carbine version for those shooters seeking a compact, potent sporting rifle. In addition, the Model 34 is a available in two all weather versions, both with extremely durable black epoxy finishes on the stocks. The 34N has a nickel-electrolysis finish on the metalwork, while the 34B has a discrete matte black coating on its metal. The combinations of special finishes on the stock and metal make these two editions relatively maintenance free, while creating an eye-catching impression. "
Other than the nickel finish it sounds as though they're exactly the same as the other 34's.

I honestly had never heard of the 34N until you mentioned so I just did a "google" and that's what popped up. Let us know if you wind up getting it

Hello Dave. I have a 34N like you describe and I assure you they are the same as the standard 34 w/a T01 trigger except for the stock and nickel coating. It may need a tune and a cleaned barrel to get back to spec's so consider that in your offer. Mid 800's sounds like where it should be. I'd offer@ $100 and see if he bites.

Progun thatnks for the info. I really like the way that thing looks. I wouldn't mind owning it at all. Maybe a littel Christmas present to myself.
