Umarex P38 as training tool.

I'm Thinking of buying a Umarex P38 as a training tool. I have a couple Real P38's that I like to shoot once in awhile. From what I see on youtube, the umarex P38 is very very close to the real one in operation. So, from what I see, the c02 version would be great to keep up my skills (a lot cheaper to shoot too!). Any thoughts on my idea??

I use an Umarex SA 177 for training because it is  Glock replica.
It holds 20 BB's, is semi automatic, has blowback action and gets around 100 shots per cart.
The blowback action reminds new shooters not to cross thier thumbs when switching to support hand shooting. A gentle ding is better than a deep slice from the slide when going live!
I did a group buy from PA and I talked 23 other officers into buying one.
The ones that actually USED them qualified the first time through at our next qualification.

The only down side is the steel BB's. If I had to do it again I would spend the $$$ on the $140 airsoft replica that strips down realistucally too.
I bit more indoor friendly (no ricochets) and you can use a net trap to collect and reshoot the 6mm balls.
