There was a guy in the cube to the left of me and a female in the one in front in the office at work. Those two would get on a roll and it would drive me nuts. I called them Meerkats. Every time they heard a noise, a voice or someone walked through the area they would pop up like the critters from their holes. And every time it was someone from upper management they would stop them and try to make small talk.
Made me mad because each time I had to switch my computer screen off the GTA..

There is one particular lineman that I work with, and I consider him a friend, that exaggerates literally EVERYTHING he retells.  To myself, I call him Drama-Dan.  His name is Dan.  There isn’t any single instance that he experiences, that when retold, doesn’t get inflated to nearly epic proportions.  It makes for interesting stories but it’s really wearing to hear these experiences retold in such a way that make an ordinary experience into something way bigger than it needs to be.  Usually the stories are inflated in the negative sense and not the positive since my time spent with him is at work and the stories that I hear retold are work related experiences.  We all do something similar to one degree or another.  I’m certainly NOT perfect but I like to think I am… 🙄🤣

At the moment I hear people rustling around and conversing as we start into our morning.  I also hear the hair dryer going in the bathroom.  Occasionally I hear my stomach growl as I’m hungry but I’m doing intermittent fasting and my first meal of the day will be this afternoon.  I picked Sundays to be the day that I extend my non-eating hours since it’s the first day of my weekend and my schedule makes it easiest to do so on this particular day of the week.

I embellish every story I tell in front of Betty Lou just to see her reaction. I've told a few good ones and she always backs my play... yep, she's a keeper.

Salute!  Intermittent fasting is not easy.  When I was sustaining it I was rewarded with pre-first meal Glucose of 90-95 without medication...

Usually at Bible study during this time but since we have a new guest I decided to stay home and make sure she doesn’t tear the place up.  So right now it’s very quiet in the house.  I hear the refrigerator running, a clock ticking, a hamster rustling around in its cage and the….  take that back.  The dog almost ate the cat… seriously.  Ugh!

Literally just happened as I was typing this.  That could have been bad.

Was listening to Betty Lou talk to her momma on the phone for about 2 minutes.... that was enough to encourage me to go out and stand in the rain.  More drama than facebook. 
Why is that such a thing among many women?
I suppose I should be grateful that she shares the drama with her momma and not me.

It isn’t just women.  I get to hear all the drama from the guys at work.  I just sit there and pretend not to hear.  It’s amazing how much of it some guys can come up with.  As men we just call it bull$#*+  🙄🙄🙄

My way around listening to "drama" at work is putting my headphones on. I may not be listening to anything at the time but it is a great excuse to ignore them, make them repeat their questinos a few times and they leave me alone

I ordered the album Hanks 40 greatest hits which just came in the mail and I've been lito it all day.

I swear I could be happy if there were no other music but Hank Williams,  I just can't get enough.
