Revmove barrel from springer breech block?

Can this be done without ruining either part? I think I've found a thread where this is mentioned before but I can't find it now.

I can see where the barrel is pinned into the breech just behind the pivot pin (Trail NP) but I think I read that the barrel is put in with an adhesive and I'm worried about getting it out without destroying on or both parts. Also, which side do you drive these pins from to remove them? I could just search that one I know...

Don't have the definitive answer you seek, but did wish to chime in.
1st off the assembly was never designed to be serviceable.
Pivot block starts out with basic machine work done for lock plunger, then once the barrel is press fitted within block the Pin hole is drilled to lock barrel position within block.  Next they index and drill for the pivot bushing that also indexes the block to the barrel by cutting away material shared by both. This bushing hole also is used (With bushing in place ) to hold lock plunger at a predetermined depth.

In all likelihood the pin is straight being quite likely PRESSED in.  Outside surfaces are quite obviously ground after the fact flushing off the pin and obscuring it's presents at all.  Attempting to drift it out likely will mushroom the hammered on side making extraction that much more difficult IMO.

More than likely BOTH pieces will sustain some damage attempting too take it apart if you even can ....

If you have access to a CNC machine, it's very easy do make a new breech block.

I know I'm late to the party, but the title of this thread is why I'm posting here. This is another chapter in the saga of the new Phantom CS1K77A break barrel( I don't know about the CS1K77 ver).

I had some play between the barrel and breech block, so I decided to fix it. After removing the locking pin, I was able to unscrew, yes, unscrew the barrel from the breech block. It took a little muscle and some padded pliers, but it did unscrew.

I could have made a shim to go between the barrel and breech block, but the locking pin would probably have been out of alignment, so I decided to just smear some JB weld in the hole and screw it back in. I have no intentions of ever taking it back apart.

The JB is curing now, so in a couple days I'll put it back together and see if the slop is gone. No reason why it won't work.

Don't know if Crosman is going to the threaded barrels in other models or not, but it might be a step in the right direction if they do it right................in other words, no slop. Well, now that I think about it maybe they should just stay with the pressed in barrels.

Wow, Jerry. That Phantom 77A is turning out to be quite a learning experience for you. By the time you're done the only thing that hasn't been changed will be the serial #.    Same experience for me with the Fury.

Yep, and when I started on it I thought it was going to be a simple lube/tune. Turns out there's not a part on it that I haven't touched for one reason or another. This'll be the last project rifle I buy...........I hope.

Wow! So when you say you unscrewed it do you mean the barrel and breech are actually threaded?

Yessir, and I'm sorry I didn't take any pics of it when I had it apart. The barrel has threads like a screw and the breech is threaded like a nut, if that makes sense. About an inch of threads and the rest is machined for the recess that the pivot sleeve goes through, and a notch for the barrel locking pin. Surprised the heck out of me. Unfortunately, tolerances, or the lack thereof, caused a sloppy fit of the barrel.
