Airguns and roses oh yeah ! Jesse you on the right track those are songs that will never die out my favorite groups from mid 80,s to mid 90,s was Guns and Roses and Metalica which i still do listen to once in awhile ,.....I know u will get it very soon ,the same energy u put into shootin ags direct it on focusing on the strings ..im no musician but focus is the key to making things happen ....do it Jesse ! .......jorge

The key to success in anything is if you get frustrated put it down for 10 minutes or so and then come back to it.

Ain't that the truth.  I've played guitar for maybe 30 years off and on.  The past 10 years I've gotten back into it and play better than I ever did before.  My guitar collection has grown like my air rifle collection, worse even.  I also learned to do my own guitar setups, just like tuning air rifles.  Both respond very well.

Only thing I know about playing a guitar is, once you throw it at the target, you have to go get it.

devdam,  you make a good point.  I did some fret dressing on a older 90s guitar {Woods},that I bought cheap, for  "knock around camp" use.  That change, and a little rubdown of the neck finish, made a 180* turnaround in comfort, playing it.  I was intimidated, but figured for $75 w/a good bag,,,I wasn't losing much.
Like Airguns.  A little TLC to fit/finish that factories don't do ... sure does make a difference.
